IVC-CT is a non-profit organization with tax-exempt status under Federal guidelines and exempt from sales tax in Connecticut.

IVC-CT is run by an Executive Committee and an Executive Director, with oversight by a Board of Directors.

The Board of Advisors for IVC-CT is composed of nine members, to include prominent members from non-profits, government, business, and the arts who are dedicated to advancing the goals of the organization in Fairfield County.

The IVC-CT meets Monthly on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 10:00 at Westport Town Hall (room 201) and has special planning meetings at Norwalk Community College.
